Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Little (“the app”). By downloading or using Little, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms extend Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “standard EULA”). Anything these Terms do not cover is governed by the standard EULA. Where these Terms and the standard EULA conflict, these Terms prevail, except for section 9 below, which Apple requires and which always applies.

1. The app

Little lets parents create decorated monthly “mats” celebrating their baby's milestones and display them as Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets. All content is created and stored locally on your device.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract to use Little. Generally, that means an adult using the app to create content for their own child.

3. Subscriptions and purchases

• Little is free to download. Access to full functionality requires one of: Lifetime (one-time, non-consumable purchase, unlocks all non-AI features forever), Yearly, or Weekly subscription.
• The Yearly plan starts with a 3-day free trial. The Weekly plan and the Lifetime purchase do not include a free trial.
• Yearly and Weekly plans are auto-renewing subscriptions billed through your Apple ID. They renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If you start the Yearly plan on a free trial, you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions any time in iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
• Prices are as displayed in the App Store at time of purchase and may vary by region.
• Refunds are handled by Apple per the App Store's refund policies. We cannot issue refunds directly.
• Family Sharing is supported on eligible purchases.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the photos, captions, and mats you create in Little. We never access, upload, or claim ownership of your content. It lives entirely on your device.

You're responsible for the content you create and for having the rights to any photos you use.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Little to create or store unlawful, abusive, or harmful content, or attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or misuse the app.

6. Intellectual property

The Little app, its design, artwork, stickers, backgrounds, and badge styles are owned by us and licensed to you for personal use within the app. You may not extract, redistribute, or resell app assets.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Little is provided “as is.” We do our best to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Because all data is stored locally, we strongly recommend keeping iCloud or other device backups enabled. We are not responsible for data loss from deleting the app, device loss, or damage.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of photos or content.

9. Apple App Store terms

Little is distributed through the Apple App Store, and the terms in this section are required by Apple. They apply in addition to everything above. If any other part of these Terms conflicts with this section, this section controls.

9.1 Acknowledgement

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Little or its content. Your use of Little must comply with the App Store Terms of Service.

9.2 Scope of licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Little on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the App Store Terms of Service.

9.3 Maintenance and support

We are solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for Little. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.

9.4 Warranty

We are solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent they are not effectively disclaimed. If Little fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation of any kind with respect to Little.

9.5 Product claims

We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to Little, including product liability claims, any claim that Little fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.

9.6 Intellectual property

If a third party claims that Little infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of that claim.

9.7 Legal compliance

You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

9.8 Third-party terms

You must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using Little.

9.9 Third-party beneficiary

Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. On your acceptance of these Terms, Apple has the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction of residence, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where App Store terms with Apple take precedence for purchase-related matters.
